SPA's Special Needs Program: Spectrum

The School of Performing Arts is pleased to announce the development of several workshops in Music, Dance, Musical Theatre, and Visual Arts geared toward children with special needs.

Through creative arts, children with disabilities are encouraged to maximize their potential in a supportive setting to celebrate music, movement, theatre and fine arts.  The use of music, dance and imagery through art allows the child an alternate path for self-exploration and communication. It is a process where they can discover themselves through any art form, to let go, to express, and release.
Your child will experience ...
* Increased ability to move and with more ease and freedom.
* Development of a deeper trust and respect for their body.
* Increased self awareness, self confidence, self- discipline as well as team building.
* Development of listening and concentration skills along with social skills.
* Promotion of a sense of pride and achievement.
