The School of Performing Arts is pleased to announce the development of several workshops in Music, Dance, Musical Theatre, and Visual Arts geared toward children with special needs.

Through creative arts, children with disabilities are encouraged to maximize their potential in a supportive setting to celebrate music, movement, theatre and fine arts. The use of music, dance and imagery through art allows the child an alternate path for self-exploration and communication. It is a process where they can discover themselves through any art form, to let go, to express, and release. Your child will experience ... * Increased ability to move and with more ease and freedom. * Development of a deeper trust and respect for their body. * Increased self awareness, self confidence, self- discipline as well as team building. * Development of listening and concentration skills along with social skills. * Promotion of a sense of pride and achievement.

SPECTRUM HOLIDAY THEATRE Saturdays, November 7- December 19 9:00am-10:00am Ages 8+ Fee: $128 for 6 week session The classic holiday favorite "The Nutcracker" will be the focus of our theatre class. We will present a play based on the characters from the story and be enriched by the music as we create. Come be a part of the Holiday Magic!

SPECTRUM MOVE AND GROOVE! Saturdays, November 7-December 19 10:15-11:15am Ages 8+ Fee: $128 for 6 week session Let's Dance! Each week we will explore a different type of dance style. We will learn dance moves and a choreographed routine to show parents at the end of each class. Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Michael Jackson moves and classic Broadway dance will all be explored. This is a great class to work on gross motor skills as well as balance and strength. No prior dance experience is necessary and students in wheelchairs or with disabilites are most welcome!

*Calling all Jellicle Cats!* Come join the cast of our Spring musical featuring the music and poems of "CATS"! Dance, music and acting are combined to present a show on the last day complete with costumes, props and set pieces. More details to follow...
