2016-2017 Registration

The School of Performing Arts provides ongoing open enrollment throughout the year depending on class availability.

Registration Options

Online: To register online, please click the “Register Online!” button in the top left corner of this page. Follow the prompts to create an account and complete your registration. You may also register in person at the Business Office during office hours. Returning students may register over the phone once they have signed the policies and waiver on the registration form either online or in person. All payment is due at the time of registration, including the annual $35 registration fee – per family.

A&A Ballet Youth Company, Conservatory and Pre-Professional III, IV&V may opt for the monthly payment plan. Please contact Liz Hilsabeck, Director of Administration, at ehilsabeck@schoolofperformingarts.com for details.

*NEW POLICY* We ask that all families keep a current credit card on file. If tuition is not received by first day of class each Quarter or Semester, The School of Performing Arts has your permission to charge your credit/debit card held on file to ensure your student’s registration in class. Please see the below policies for quarter and semester dates.  If your student is not continuing with a class, please email the Business Office ONE WEEK prior to the end of class at info@schoolofperformingarts.com. Please see below for quarter and semester dates.

*NEW POLICY* Theatre students will NOT be automatically re-registered into classes. You may register for any appropriately leveled Theatre class at anytime during the school year. This does not apply to Show Choir or MainStage Musicals.

• There are no refunds, credits or transfers of any fees. Returned checks have a $25 fee.

Dance students are encouraged to enroll for entire year with payments split into FOUR Quarterly payments.

Music students are encouraged to enroll for entire year with payments broken down either by Semester (two payments) or Quarter (four payments).

Theatre students will NOT be automatically enrolled for the entire year. All theatre classes are open enrollment – you may register for them at any time. New student registrations begins the week prior to the start of each session.


QUARTER AND SEMESTER DATES AND PAYMENT POLICIES

DANCE DEPARTMENT PAYMENT POLICY Open enrollment for all dance classes. Students may register at anytime .
First Quarter: September 6 – November 5, 2016
• Payment due at time of registration
Second Quarter: November 9, 2016 – January 23, 2017
• Quarterly payment or drop notice due by: November 2, 2016 or credit card will be charged on November 9th.
• Automatic/Recurring billing date: October 19, 2016
Third Quarter: January 25, 2017 – March 26, 2017
• Quarterly payment or drop notice due by: January 18, 2017 or credit card will be charged on January 25th
• Automatic/Recurring billing date: January 4, 2017
Fourth Quarter: April 4, 2016 – June 4, 2016
• Quarterly payment or drop notice due by: March 28, 2017 or credit card will be charged on April 4th
• Automatic/Recurring billing date: March 7, 2017

MUSIC DEPARTMENT PAYMENT POLICY
Open enrollment for music lessons. Students may register at any time.

First Semester: September 6, 2015 – January 21, 2016
Second Semester: January 23, 2016 – May 27, 2016

Semester Payment Plan:
• First Semester payment: due at time of registration
• Second Semester payment due or drop notice by: January 18, 2017 or credit card will be charge on January 25th.
• Automatic/Recurring billing date: January 4, 2017

Quarterly Payment Plan:
First Quarter payment:
• Due at time of registration
Second Quarter:
• Quarterly payment or drop notice due by: November 2, 2016 or credit card will be charged on November 9th.
• Automatic/Recurring billing date: October 19, 2015
Third Quarter:
• Quarterly payment or drop notice due by: January 18, 2017 or credit card will be charged on January 25th
• Automatic/Recurring billing date: January 4, 2016
Fourth Quarter:
• Quarterly payment or drop notice due by: March 28, 2017 or credit card will be charged on April 4th
• Automatic/Recurring billing date: March 7, 2016

THEATRE DEPARTMENT PAYMENT POLICY
Open enrollment for Theatre classes. Students may register at time. Please see individual classes and workshop for dates.


The School of Performing Arts will be closed on the following days:
Labor Day – September 5
Thanksgiving Break – Music Department: November 23-27, Dance and Theatre: November 24-27
Holiday Break – December 23 – January 5
Spring Break – March 26 – April 2
Memorial Day – May 29
