Rebecca was raised in Japan and took her initial Suzuki instruction with one of Dr. Suzuki’s original teacher-trainees. She later completed her graduation level training and teacher training with Dr. Suzuki himself. Rebecca established the very successful Suzuki program at Wheaton College, and is a former board member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She continues to train new Suzuki teachers and teaches Suzuki workshops and institutes around the country.
