CLASS PIANO
Group classes are an ideal way for children to begin their piano education and build the foundation for continued individual study in piano or other instruments. Students will gain the skills they need to move into private lessons, while the fun-to-play songs, games, and group activities help the learning process and keep students focused and motivated.

All beginning piano students must start in class piano, and should expect to spend a maximum of two years in class instruction before moving to a private lesson. Students must have an instrument at home on which to practice. An acoustic piano is recommended.

Mini Mozart I (Beginning Level)
Ages 5-6
An introduction to the piano through singing, rhythm, movement, listening and playing songs. Young students enjoy making music and participating in age appropriate group activities. Students interested in starting Mini Mozart I require a readiness interview. Please contact us at 630.717.6622 to schedule an appointment prior to registration.
50 minutes / week - Mozart Room
$375 / 18 weeks *$20 materials fee
Mondays 4:00-4:50pm with Miss Mary (MH)
*Class begins August 29 to make up for missed class on Labor Day (Sept. 5)
Wednesdays 5:00-5:50pm with Miss Mary (MH)
*Class begins the week of September 5 as scheduled

Mini Mozart II (Intermediate Level)
Ages 6-8
A continuation of Mini Mozart I. Students completing a full year of Mini Mozart I advance to this next level. Students completing a year of Mini Mozart II advance to private piano lessons.
50 minutes / week
$375 / 18 weeks *$20 materials fee
*Mini Mozart II will not be offered in Fall of 2011

Beginning Beethoven (Beginning Level)
Ages 7-9
This class for beginning piano students offers a firm foundation in the fundamentals of piano playing. In addition to music-reading and keyboard skills, classes include music theory and ear-training games, improvisation exercises, and ensemble playing.
1 hour / week - Mozart Room
$375 / 18 weeks *$20 materials fee
Mondays 6:00-7:00pm with Miss Karen (KK)
*Class begins August 29 to make up for missed class on Labor Day (Sept. 5)

New! Adult Group Piano (Beginning Level)
Ages 18-99
This class for beginning adult piano students offers a firm foundation in the fundamentals of piano playing. In addition to music-reading and keyboard skills, classes include music theory and ear-training, improvisation exercises, and ensemble playing.
