Oksana Rodak
Conductor of Cantare Children's Chorus

Oksana Rodak is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Canada) where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education. She received an Associate Diploma in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Oksana has served as Artistic Director of Young Naperville Singers, Artistic Director of The Cantate Children's Choir, assistant conductor of The University of Toronto Symphony Chorus, conductor with The Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus, Coordinator of Children’s Music at The Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago. For several years, Oksana lived in Ukraine were she founded The Perlyna Children’s Choir of Kyiv, studied a folk instrument called the bandura, and produced a CD entitled “An Anthology of Ukrainian Music.” Oksana Rodak is the winner of the Glenn Gould Memorial Scholarship and the Leslie Bell Conducting Prize. She has received the Artist-Teacher Diploma from Dr. Doreen Rao’s Choral Music Experience Institute and has served on the faculty of the CME Institute.
