Wiggleworms® comes to The School of Performing Arts!

The Old Town School of Folk Music’s unique early childhood music program welcomes young children to the world of music.  Children and
grownups sing, play finger games, do circle dances, and play rhythm instruments especially designed for little hands.  Your Wiggleworms®
teacher leads the class in musical play with traditional and original songs, while accompanying the class on acoustic guitar. Classes are
designed for different age groups. Activities will vary as your child grows. Classes are limited to 12 children with their parent or caregiver.

Wiggleworms® 6-12 months
At this earliest stage, baby’s mind is open and receptive to melody, rhythm and language.  Babies love making music with their grown-ups
and in the company of other little ones.
$240/16 week session, 45 minutes a week, cost includes baby maraca

Wiggleworms® 12-24 months
At this toddler stage, young children are working on motoring around as well as listening and playing with sound.  Motor skills, language
development, and musicality are stimulated through musical play.

Sibling Wiggleworms® 6 months—4 years
In this special class for a mixed age group, families share musical  time together engaging in interactive songs and musical play; older

Wigglegrads® 3—4 years
Children will explore the world of music--each week, singing, dancing  and playing percussion instruments such as rhythm sticks, hand drums, 
tambourines, triangles and more! Your Wiggleworms® teacher will lead  the group in an exploration of music concepts such as melody, 
dynamics, tempo, and rhythm while introducing special “big kid”  instruments and songs.
