GROUP MUSIC INSTRUCTION

ELEMENTARY VOICE CLASS

Students will explore age ­appropriate breathing and vocal techniques through a variety of vocal repertoire while learning music theory, music reading, and sight singing. They will experience how to perform for an audition and for general audiences through in-class performances. The fruits of their labor will culminate in a vocal demonstration at the end of the session.

Age: Grades 3 and 4

ADVANCED ELEMENTARY VOICE CLASS

This voice class offers a continuation of the basic vocal techniques taught in our Elementary Voice Class (breathing, vowel formation and musical expression). In addition, students will focus on skills to aid in auditioning and performing.

Age: Grades 4 and 5
Date:   September 6 – January 21
Time:  Wednesday, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

BEGINNING MIDDLE SCHOOL VOICE CLASS

Students learn focus, breathing, appropriate vocal technique, musical expression, voice care, sight singing, and theory. Classes will include solo and ensemble performance experience as well as the preparation of appropriate audition pieces.

Age: Grades 7 and 8
Date: September 6 – January 21
Time: Wednesday, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Tuition: $435

ADVANCED MIDDLE SCHOOL VOICE CLASS

MINI MOZART GROUP PIANO CLASS

This preparatory class gives young piano students the opportunity to learn basic piano skills. The interactive curriculum allows students to play piano in groups and pairs while enhancing their fine motor skills, musical ear, and note reading abilities.
