Music Ensembles Program
The School of Performing Arts is proud to announce our NEW Music Ensemble Program! Led by the Directors’ of Music Rose Colella and Nik Eden. This Program will offer all music students the unique opportunity to perform in a wide array of ensembles including classical chamber groups, jazz combos, vocal groups, piano ensembles, vocal/piano duos and many more! Exciting performance opportunities include: community performances such as Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, DuPage Children’s Museum, Holiday Tour at area retirement communities, Navy Pier and downtown Naperville, as well as field trips to Lyons and Healy harp factory, Chicago Symphony Center and more.

If you are currently in the Little Fugue Ensemble (2014/2015 season) your rehearsals will resume at the beginning of the Fall semester. All other returning ensemble families should plan on attending the ensemble parent meeting and audition.

Everyone’s favorite practically perfect nanny takes the stage in this Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious musical adventure! One of the most popular Disney movies of all time is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect musical! Based on the books by P.L. Travers and classic Walt Disney film, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins delighted Broadway audiences for over 2,500 performances and received nominations for nine Oliver and seven TONY Awards, including Best Musical. Don’t miss out!

Rehearsals will take place September 11 – November 25 on Wednesday and some Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings and some Sunday afternoons.

THE ARTISTS’ PERFORMING SHOWCASE
The Artists’ Performing Showcase is a collection of Dance, Music, and Theatre presented by the students and faculty of The School of Performing Arts. SPA students will be selected through an audition process to represent the Music and Dance Departments at this event.
