Vocal and Piano Instructor
Mrs. Krueger holds a B.M.E. from the American Conservatory of Music, with an emphasis in voice and conducting. Karen has continued her graduate studies at U. of I. Chicago. Karen has also studied with professionals such as Frances Ernest, Rose Willits and Paul Salamonovich. She is a member of the Naperville Chapter of Music Teachers National Assoc. Karen is an active choir director, accompanist and soloist at many churches in the Chicago area. She also is an accomplished, working freelance musician in the Chicago area performing pop style music as a soloist as well as with an acappella jazz group.
Mrs. Krueger has had years of teaching experience and adjudicating in private and public schools. She has worked with all ages, levels and styles. Karen is an experienced music director with such credits as Godspell, Guys and Dolls and How To Succeed In Business to name a few.
Karen prepares students annually for competitions, auditions, solo and ensemble, and All-State festivals. Mrs. Krueger is proud of her students accomplishments such as major recording labels, performing at Walt Disney World and in Carnegie Hall! She and her husband Tom have produced CD's and have performed in Walt Disney World and in Los Angeles.
She and her husband Tom are proud parents of five children.
