A native of Lviv, Ukraine, Nazar graduated from Lviv Special Music School for gifted youth with a Bachelor of Music Degree. He earned his Master of Music from Moscow State Conservatory. He was principal cellist with Moscow Conservatory Symphony and Moscow State Symphony Young Russia. He served as assistant professor at Moscow State Conservatory, and is currently studying at Roosevelt University. He is a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
