Alissa began her professional dance training from BalletMet Columbus and obtained her BFA in Dance from The Ohio State University. She is a certified Pilates instructor, and has been a dance educator, choreographer, and professional dancer for twelve years. In addition to her artistic background, Alissa has also built a career in arts administration and marketing. She has served as the Director for the Repertory Dance Theatre Community School, in Salt Lake City, a manager of the Alonzo King LINES Dance Center, in San Francisco, Marketing Director for Naganuma Dance, in New York City, and VP of Retail Operations for BC Sacs, in Phoenix. Her careers have taken her from coast to coast and to Europe. Alissa is excited to be back in the Midwest and as a new member of The School of Performing Arts family.
