STORYBOOK STUDIO
Ages 3-5
Each day a new play will be brought to life! Little stars will shine using favorite fairy tales, stories, poems and even a song or two to develop self-expression, language skills, memorization and socialization. Every few weeks your little actor will show off the fun we've had with a small performance!

BEGINNING ACTING
Grades K - 3
It's Show Time! This workshop will help students gain confidence and grow as a young artist. They will receive the skills necessary to follow stage directions, articulate clearly, listen and react in the moment and create a character and an ensemble. We will rehearse and perform our very special play with a studio show at the end of the semester... let's raise the curtain!

ACTING FOR HIGH SCHOOLERS
Grades 8 - 12
Back by popular demand, this class will focus on all aspects and angles of the Art of Acting and the Acting Business. Focusing primarily on monologue and scene study work, but also touching on improvisation, resume writing, and auditioning, actors will grow and perfect their talents and expertise. This class will ultimately prepare students for the Acting World!

ACTING FOR THE CAMERA
Grades 4 - 10
This screen acting class is designed for students with an interest in film and commercial work, which is quite different from the stage. Working both on and off camera we will learn the skills of on-camera acting technique. Actors will learn about the TV/film industry, how to read copy, find your camera angles, hit your mark, how to slate, audition and book those gigs! New and Improved Camera this year at SPA!
*In order to take Intermediate TV/Film Techniques, you must have completed at least three semesters of the beginning level.
