Stacey Rogers
Guest Dance Faculty

 

 

Stacey Rogers is currently a faculty member of the internationally acclaimed Ann Lacy School of American Dance & Arts Management at Oklahoma City University.  Ms. Rogers serves as Assistant Professor of the school’s newest degree program, Bachelor of Science in American Dance Pedagogy, which offers students the opportunity to become a Master Teacher of American Dance through a focused curriculum that is on the cutting edge of the industry.  Currently, she teaches courses in all levels of Jazz and Tap technique, Choreography, Jazz Pedagogy, Tap Pedagogy, Dance History, Dance Health, and Dance Studio Management.  Prior to her move to Oklahoma City, she resided in Chicago where she danced with Suite 132 Dance Company, as well as served as Assistant Director of The School of Performing Arts in Naperville, Illinois.  There, Ms. Rogers was also the Company Manager for the student Dance Ensemble, a choreographer and dance instructor.  She is a frequent master teacher, guest choreographer, and dance competition judge.  Ms. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dance Management from Oklahoma City University and is currently pursuing her Master of Education and Professional Counseling License.  She is honored to be returning to SPA to share her passion for the art of dance once again!
