Amanda Reath enjoys finding different ways to express her love of dance, whether performing, teaching, taking class or working administratively. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in both dance and public relations from Western Michigan University. While at WMU, she performed in many pieces choreographed by other students, faculty, and renowned choreographers through the Great Works Project. She most recently performed in Washington, D.C. for choreographer Erin Mitchell as part of Taffety Punk Theatre Company's Dance Craze series. Amanda relocated to the Chicagoland area in the spring of 2010 and performed in a piece choreographed by fellow WMU alum Sarah Rabbers in Dance Chicago. She previously worked as Operations Assistant at Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers and has danced professionally for Detroit Dance Collective and stbdance. She is a teaching artist for Kalamazoo RESA's Education For The Arts' PACE program and has taught at WMU as well studios across Michigan and the Chicagoland area.
